Dr. Dimitris E. Charilas was born in 1984 and graduated on 2001 from the Experimental High School of St. Anargyroi. He received the Diploma Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2006, as well as his MBA in Techno-Economic Systems in 2008 from the same institution. From November 2007 to May 2012 he realised his PhD thesis in collaboration with the Mobile Radiocommunications laboratory of NTUA. He has published so far 13 papers in international conferences and 9 papers in international journals; moreover he is co-author of 7 book chapters. His PhD thesis is entitled “Optimal Resource Management Techniques in Next Generation Wireless Networks for Quality of Service Provisioning”. His research interests include mobile radio communication systems design, resource allocation in wireless networks and quality of service issues.
